The “work” week was very relaxing, had our last Spanish and Kriol classes and prepared for our departure on Tuesday morning, May 24, 2011. On Friday, we all got invited to go Chris’ host family’s home for dinner and a birthday. Saturday morning, we helped with a river clean-up at the Mopan River in Succotz. Then, later that day we prepared and cooked an “American” meal for all our host families and other community individuals who helped us throughout our stay in Succotz. It was so great to see everyone together and thank them for all they have done for us. On Sunday, I got to relax, do laundry, pack and then in the evening we had dinner with Roy’s host family. Monday was our last day of Sessions and Activities in CBT so all the Health Trainees, Tech and language trainers and I went CAVE TUBING at Noho Chen Caves and Caves Branch!!!!!! It was absolutely amazing, just a great way to end our training with some fun and relaxation! J
And today I found out where I am going…and its ORANGE WALK TOWN!!! Teaching HFLE (i.e. Health Ed) to teachers and working at the District Education Center in Orange Walk. More fun stuff ahead and pictures coming soon… J

Last Days in Succotz and Off to...
I’m sad we have to leave this wonderful, little village which we called home for the past 8 weeks! We did a lot of fun things the last days we were here and tied up some last loose ends with the community. After getting back from Dangriga, on Sunday, I attended the First Communion at the Catholic Church and was invited to go to a little party after for one of the little girls. Then, later that afternoon, Hana’s host family invited everyone over for Lasagna for their daughters 1st birthday; the lasagna was soo good!
