Just Belize: Dangriga and the Health Fair!!!!

Hello everyone….another busy, fun-filled week here in Succotz and Dangriga! So some of you may have known that I was in Dangriga (town on the coast of Belize) for four days visiting another PCV and seeing what she does, how she leaves and what to expect when we finally are on our own! The trip was great! Couldn’t have come at a better time, it was nice to get away and just relax and not have to think, if you know what I mean! J So, while in Dangriga, we just went to the beach and relaxed. It was so nice swimming in the salty Caribbean Sea; it reminded me being back home, minus all the OC that goes on at the beach. LOL.

Then, on Thursday, we had our Health Fair at Succtoz RC School. It was a great success, we had many NGOs, and other organizations, and much local support come and participate in the event. So, it has been a hectic week getting everything ready for the fair after getting back so late Tuesday.

I only have a week and half left here in Succotz and then it’s back to Belmopan for sessions on “Bridge to Service.” It’s all winding down…and I can’t believe! Miss you all, love you all, and hope all is well. And I’ll talk to you soon! J
